Recently, construction has commenced on several photovoltaic projects, reaching a total capacity of 2GW and with a total investment of nearly 6 billion yuan.
On August 19th, construction began on the CECEP Solar Muping Phase I 100MW Photovoltaic Composite Power Generation Project.
The project, located in Guanshui Town, Muping District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, covers a total land area of approximately 3,000 mu (approximately 166 acres), with a DC installed capacity of 120.01284MW. This phase of the project will be connected to the 220kV Luneng step-up and collection station, and a 120MVA main transformer will be constructed simultaneously, ultimately enabling power transmission at a 220kV voltage level.
Previously, on March 26th, CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd. issued an announcement regarding the investment in the CECEP Solar Muping Phase I 100MW Photovoltaic Composite Power Generation Project. The project is included in Shandong Province's list of market-oriented grid-connected projects for 2024, with a planned total investment of approximately 470.6513 million yuan. The project's principal contractor is CECEP (Yantai) Solar Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CECEP. On July 1st, the winning bid for the EPC general contracting of the first phase of the CECEP Solar Muping 100MW photovoltaic power generation project was announced. China Aneng Group Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. won the bid with a bid price of 113.68661353 million yuan, or a unit price of 1.14 yuan per watt.
On August 21st, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 1.6 million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project in Tacheng Shangdian Power was held in Tuoli County, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The 1.6 million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project in Tuoli County, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, innovatively adopts a "photovoltaic + animal husbandry" model. With a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan and covering an area of 70,000 mu (approximately 16,000 mu), the project is expected to be officially connected to the grid on December 30, 2026, with a construction period of 15 months.
It is reported that the project's design unit is China Light Industry Guangzhou Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the large state-owned enterprise China Poly Group Corporation, and the construction unit is Shenglong Electric Group Power Engineering Co., Ltd. On August 23, construction began on a 300MW fishery-solar hybrid photovoltaic power generation project in Tianquanhu Town, Xuyi County, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province.
The project, located in Tianquanhu Town, Xuyi County, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, covers an area of 6,909 mu (approximately 16,000 acres) and has an installed capacity of 300MW on the AC side. Construction includes a 300MW photovoltaic power station, a 220kV booster station, a 30MW/60MWh energy storage system, and on-site transmission and transformation lines. The project is expected to complete in nine months.
Previously, on April 22, 2025, TBEA announced its investment in the 300MW photovoltaic hybrid power generation project in Tianquanhu Town, Xuyi County. The announcement indicated that the project would be constructed by Xuyi Xinte Energy Development Co., Ltd., a second-tier subsidiary of TBEA Holding Company, with a total investment of approximately 1.488 billion yuan.
